Children’s charity EACH is calling on supporters to donate more furniture to its recently opened store.
Stock at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices’ shop in North Road, Clacton, has been very quickly moving on from the outlet – all helping raise more money for the worthy cause.
The team now want to urge the community to keep donating, so that they can make the most of the generous momentum in purchases.
Lisa Probet, EACH Shop Manager, said: “We’ve got a collection van dedicated to the area and pick-up is free within a 20-mile radius.
“Please let us know if you’ve got any good-quality items to donate by calling 01223 800800 – option six – or visiting www.each.org.uk/free.”
EACH offers vital care and support to 49 children and young people with life-threatening conditions in Essex, as well as their family members, plus hundreds more across the rest of the region.
It needs to raise some £2.5 million a year from retail, so its Clacton-on-Sea shop will be trading seven days a week.
The new outlet is EACH’s 30th across the region and second in Essex, joining one in Halstead. It boasts a larger collection of furniture than any of the charity’s other shops, as well as a kids’ zone.
