EACH is asking Diss residents to pop to its Chapel Street store this week, as part of its 20th birthday celebrations.
Customers will be able to get 20% off items at the shop and see the results of the property’s recent makeover.
EACH now boasts new flooring downstairs as well as new carpet upstairs. In a shuffle around, the men’s department has moved upstairs whilst the book room has been put in the foyer, that has also had a lick of paint and some new shelving.
Davina Scales, Shop Manager, said: “It’s incredible to think we’ve been part of the community here for 20 years now and we’re really looking forward to celebrating that on Friday, 19 and Saturday, 20 October, hopefully with lots of customers! Please do come along, have a piece of cake and see what bargains you can get your hands on.”
The shop has recently had a banner put up to discourage people from leaving donations outside the doors on Sundays, an issue because items left are often ruined or unsaleable, and it costs EACH precious money to discard them. The banner has had some impact, but the charity is still keen to stress the importance of donors bringing in their items when the shop is open.
