A business team quiz, hosted by recruitment firm Pure, has raised more than £2,000 for Suffokl Mind.
The annual event saw 32 teams take part, with companies including Haven Power, MLM and Suffolk Constabulary represented.
Winning top spot at the end of the evening was Pound Gates’s team, who were presented with champagne.
Paul Sheldrake, Manager at Pure’s Ipswich office, said: “Last year our quiz clashed with Storm Doris which meant several of our teams were not able to make it.
“We were very glad that the weather was much kinder to us this year! I’d like to thank everyone who attended, donated and contributed to the event.”
He added: “We are delighted to have been able to raise such a fantastic amount for this charity, and to have had Jon Neal, Chief Executive of Suffolk Mind, with us on the night to tell us more about how this money will be used to improve mental health in the local community.”
Suffolk Mind provides a range of services designed to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of people across the region including housing support, one-to-one interventions and community engagement.
The funds raised were secured through the entry fee for each team, with the full amount being donated to the charity, and through the raffle of prizes donated by local organisations. Pure is committed to its charity partners across the region. This includes £1,700 raised for Suffolk’s Lighthouse Women’s Aid at last year’s Ipswich quiz night.
