Pedalling Partner Secures Thousands for Charity

A company partner has raised more than £3,000 for charity after taking part in a gruelling relay-style bike ride covering 1500km.

Simon Jacklin, senior partner at  construction consultancy Daniel Connal Partnership (which has offices in Colchester and Norwich), took part in the Legal & General Real Assets Club Peloton Cycle to MIPIM.

The bike ride was staged in aid of Coram, a charity which works with children who are adopted or fostered. It covered a route from London to Cannes  and involved more than 180 riders.

He said: “As a keen cyclist, I was excited by the physical and mental challenge while raising money for a worthwhile cause.

“For nearly 280 years, Coram has assisted children in need and to help raise money so that they can continue to do their much-needed work, is a pleasure.”
