Three Norfolk colleagues are just days away from completing a skydive in aid of Nelson’s Journey.
The staff from Heritage Will Writers, in Norfolk, will take on the fundraising effort at Beccles Airfield on 14th April.
Hayleigh Thornhill (IT Consultant), Alan Tooth (Call Centre Manager) and Kyle McCallum (Admin Assistant) are set to jump from 13,000 feet as part of the challenge, and have so far raised over £1,100 between them.
Their charity of choice, Nelson’s Journey, supports children and young people who have experienced the death of a significant person.
At the start of the year, Heritage Will Writers joined the NJ Twenty20 scheme – A commitment taken by 20 Norfolk businesses to raise a minimum of £1,000 each to help celebrate the 20th year of Nelson’s Journey.
Heritage Will Writers Managing Director, Kathy Long said: “We are so proud of Hayleigh, Alan and Kyle for doing such a brave thing for Nelsons Journey.
“We are blessed to have individuals who are always looking for opportunities to fundraise for charities, and as a company we are keen to support this with an in-house charity team.”
She added: “I am lucky enough to have been shown around Nelsons Journeys Smiles House recently and get a real understanding of the fantastic work that they do to support bereaved children. That is why we are committed to raise as much as we can for Nelsons Journey to help them celebrate their 20th birthday.”
